After six months, the BlackBerry Storm eventually live up to the possibilities. Major updates to the handheld and desktop software have fixed the Storm most frustrating bugs and filled in many gaps, making this a phone we can finally recommend. But it is almost too late for unusual click-screen phone from RIM, the BlackBerry Storm 2 will come down the pike within a few months.
If you are holding off on buying a phone from the Storm by massive bugs and bad media sync, you can now go pick up with more confidence. RIM has fixed those problems and added the World App store for a solid third party app experience. If your company off because you do not like the Storm’s unique and unusual touch-screen then, well, I can not help you there.
The decidedly sexy 5.5-ounce Storm is a 4.4-by-2.4-by-0.5-inch (HWD) slab is dominated by a 3.3-inch, 360 x 480-pixel touch screen, which is capacitive, which means that detects the electricity in your fingers, and transflective, so it’s easy to see outdoors in bright light.
