Intel showed it’s first Android smart phone

The Intel platform is a system based on a chip with the new Atom processor, that stands out by it’s low energy consumption. The smart phone presented by the American corporation runs on the Android Gingerbread platform, while the tablet got the Ice Cream Sandwich.

As the Technology Review states, the smart phone prototype pretty much looks like iPhone 4/4S but it is much lighter. The tablet can be compared to iPad 2 by the size and weight criteria, still it is equipped with a large display. As journalists state the Intel Android smart phone stands out by a high level productivity, as the newest device model based on Android OS.
The commercial products with the Intel Medfield chips will appear in the 2’nd half of the 2012. Most likely that the Intel Android smart phone will be announced within the CES exhibition in January.
