Samsung Star GT-S5230 Review

If you want me to describe the Samsung Star in a few words, that would be a touchscreen phone for the masses. Today, touchscreen phones are not new as it used to be back a few years and Samsung is just trying to give a touch screen experience at an affordable price. We had the chance to test the device for a few days and here is our verdict.

We can not say Samsung Star is an eye catcher, but is considering an excessive price tag attached to it, does not disappoint. The front sports a nice 3.2-inch QVGA screen, along with the Call / End buttons and a center acts as a back button. The sides are made by the volume controls, charging / headphone slot on one side while the other side has a camera and a key lock button. The plastic battery cover is a disappointment that slides down fairly easily (on the loose side) to the battery and the SIM card slot.
One thing you’ll notice when you hold it is his weight. It’s just 92grams and with the use of plastic body, some users feel cheap and not classy. Star has a 3-inch WQVGA screen supports a resolution and 262k colors. As you would expect, the screen is good enough to get you addicted to watching movies or play games.
