Internet shop Expansys which started to receive orders for new "Google" phone Acer A1 in France and Germany unveiled rather intriguing novelty specifications.
According to the shop information the phone will function under the newest system Google Android 2.0 (Donut) which was not used in any other available smartphone. Computational power will be provided by Qualcomm 8250 processor with 768 MH which is 240 MH more than other Android solutions.
The device Acer smartphone is aimed at GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/800/1900 MH) and HSPA/WCDMA (850/1900/2100 MH). It also is equipped with built in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 modules, 256 MB operational memory and 512 MB ROM enlarged with the help of MicroSD cards and also built in 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus. In order to connect audio there is a standard 3,5 mm slot.  Acer smartphone A1 display has the diagonal of 3,5 inches and works with WVGA resolution.
Acer A1 price in Expansys without the contract is 389 euro. But since the phone appearance dates are not mentioned, it is not clear when it will be possible to see how correct this information is. According to unofficial data  Acer smartphone A1 presentation was scheduled for this month.
