Sprint officially unveiled the HTC EVO Shift 4G, the third carrier 4G smartphone. EVO Shift, which was prematurely leaked by Walmart, has a 3.6-inch capacitive touch display, a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and of course, support for Sprint WiMAX ( INFO) driven 4G network.
EVO Shift offers a quick Qualcomm MSM7630 processor running at 800MHz to ensure that the functions, including the site of the browser of the phone look good on the phone WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display.
Sprint claims that the phone should be 3 to 6Mbps download speeds, on average, while in areas covered 4G, and notes that its Mobile Hotspot service can be used for a data connection with up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices to share.
